Terms and Conditions

      1.  INTRODUCTION

  • Padel SA (PTY) Ltd (“Padel SA” “we,” “us,” and “our”) owns and operates this website, which can be found at www.padelsouthafrica.co.za, (the “Website”).
  • The ordering, sale, and delivery of Goods, as well as the use of the Website, are governed by these Website Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
  • These Terms and Conditions apply to anyone who visits or uses this Website (hereinafter referred to as “you,” “your,” or “user”).  By using the Website you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • By purchasing items from Padel SA, the customer agrees to fully comply with all of Padel SA terms and conditions

       2.  IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Users who are consumers for the purposes of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (the “CPA”) are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • These Terms and Conditions have been brought to your notice because they are essential and should be carefully read.
  • It is your duty to ask Padel SA to explain any provision in these Terms and Conditions that you do not understand before accepting the Terms and Conditions or continuing to use the Website.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended or must be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any right or obligation, as the case may be, created for either you or Padel SA in terms of the CPA.

       3.  PAYMENT

  • We are dedicated to delivering safe and secure online payment options. All transactions are encrypted with the most up-to-date encryption technology available.
  • Payment for Goods can be made with a Debit card, a Credit card or, Instant EFT.
  • If you pay with a credit card, we may need extra information to authorise and/or verify your payment. In such instances, we have the right to withhold delivery until we have received the additional information and gained authorisation for the amounts.
  • Your order for the Goods will be cancelled if we do not acquire authorisation.
  • You represent and warrant that you have full authority to use the credit card provided to pay for the Goods.
  • You also declare that the funds on your credit card are sufficient to cover all expenditures incurred as a result of using the Website’s services;
  • After you’ve chosen your payment option, you’ll be routed to a secure site where you can pay the applicable purchase amount for the Goods.

    4. DELIVERY

  • All orders are shipped only after payment confirmation is received.
  • Unless otherwise specified, delivery will be attempted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Please be advised that we may be forced to do further checks on your payment or address information on occasion, which may cause your transaction to be delayed.

    5. CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY

  • For all delivery, a signature is necessary. Please be aware that we will not store products in a “safe” or “hidden” location.
  • If you are unable to sign for the delivery, you can provide an alternate delivery address (for example, a workplace or a family member) at the time of purchase.
  • Please be sure to specify the business name if you want the goods delivered to your work address. You may be asked to confirm these details, in which case a company representative will try to contact you by phone or email.
  • Only if we obtain specific instructions from you authorising us to do so, can goods be signed for by a neighbour.
  • We cannot be held liable for orders that are delayed due to situations beyond our control (eg. strikes, disasters, etc). We appreciate your patience if these unforeseen circumstances occur, and we will do everything we can to guarantee your order comes as quickly as possible.

    6. DELIVERIES THAT FAIL TO BE DELIVERED

  • If the courier’s delivery attempts are unsuccessful, they will notify you of the attempted delivery and try again to complete the delivery.
  • They will then keep the products for five working days at their local depot, giving you time to arrange pickup. If you do not attempt to retrieve the order, it will be returned to you. If you do not contact us about this order within another five days, the goods will be returned to you.
  • Please email info@padelsouthafrica.co.za with the order number/consignment reference and the required data if you desire for additional delivery attempts, authorise that products be left with a neighbour, or modify the delivery address once the order has been sent.
  • Please note that Padel SA reserves the right to reroute shipments and make further delivery attempts at its sole discretion. An authorisation is not always granted and may be subject to a cost.

    7. RETURNS

  • You have fourteen (7) days to return an item to us; however, before returning the item, please contact us at info@padelsouthafrica.co.za for confirmation.
  • Our return policy is entirely at our discretion.
  • Your item must not have been used and must be returned in the same condition as when it was given to you (including all other items).
  • We will not cover the expense of returning the item to us; this is your obligation, and we will not reimburse the original shipping costs.

    8. WARRANTY

  • Padel rackets are not covered under any warranty due to the nature of the game.
  • The only time a racket can be returned is if on receiving the item there is a manufacturing fault.
  • Please ensure to take photos, and email info@padelsouthafrica.co.za if this is the case.
